A gentle way in

Reading the Bible can feel like walking into the middle of a conversation you did not start. This is a way in — short daily readings, a few minutes at a time, that take you from being found by God to being at home with Him. Free, and yours to keep.

Small steps, every day

Some days are ok, some are good, some are great, and some are none of those. Read what you can — it counts.

Each day has three parts. The first one is short on purpose. If that is all you can manage, you have read a whole story and you have not missed the point.

The Story

A short passage — usually seven to fifteen verses. Something that actually happened, with a beginning and an end. Two or three minutes.

The Detail

What comes just before or just after. Read this when you have a bit longer and want the fuller picture.

The Answer

One verse against one lie. Most of us are carrying something somebody said about us. This is what God says instead.

About the readings. Every reference is a link — tap it to read the passage on Bible Hub, in the Berean Standard Bible, straight at the verse. Each block also has a printable Word version with the full passages written out, useful if you would rather read on paper or hand a copy to someone. You can also download our free Bible for your phone or e-reader.
About the third part. The lie is written in grey, in quote marks, because it is something you have been told — not something that is true. The line underneath it is yours to say back. Out loud, if that helps.
Each week also has a companion Psalm, a single verse to carry with you — worth writing down and sticking where you will see it — and space to note what stood out and any questions you would still like God to answer.
If a week goes well, do it twice. Going through the same seven days a second time is not starting again. Most people notice things the second time that they walked straight past the first.

Four blocks, twelve weeks

Each block stands on its own and takes three weeks. You can begin at the start, or step in wherever you are. Together they walk from first meeting God to being settled and at home with Him.

New to all this? Begin with Block One — Sought and Found. There is no clock on any of it.
